Weintraub, Stock & Grisham, P.C. advises and represents management in all phases of labor and employment law, ranging from collective bargaining disputes and unfair labor practice cases to employment discrimination and wrongful discharge litigation.  We represent our clients in all federal and state courts and before federal, state and local administrative agencies throughout the United States, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the United States Department of Labor.

History

Weintraub Stock was founded in 1959 in Memphis by the late Samuel J. Weintraub.  Mr. Weintraub, prior to entering private practice, was Regional Director for Region 26 of the National Labor Relations Board in Memphis.  Mr. Weintraub limited his practice to the exclusive representation of management in labor and employment matters.  His practice quickly grew with the firm representing both public and private sector clients in the mid-south and across the United States.  Mr. Weintraub earned a reputation for excellence in handling complex labor and employment cases.  This commitment to excellence continues today.

Our Philosophy

Today, legal problems and union activities can impose an enormous financial strain on a company.   For this reason, Weintraub Stock is strongly committed to preventative labor and employment relations and to providing the necessary knowledge and assistance to employers to allow them to effectively operate in a highly regulated, litigious business environment.  The firm periodically publishes The Weintraub Newsletter, informing our clients of important labor and employment developments.  In addition, we also conduct numerous seminars for clients and other business or human relations professionals, which provide training and information that is critical in preventing expensive litigation or union organization campaigns.  We also conduct comprehensive policy and handbook reviews in order to ensure compliance with today's ever changing employment standards.
